Our Fine & Performing Arts faculty takes great joy in helping students prepare for the college admissions process, whether they intend to major in the arts or submit a college art supplement.  Students who are considering an arts program should begin talks with their instructors early in their junior year.

Visual Arts students are encouraged to attend at least one National Portfolio Day either their junior or senior year, which is usually held in the Mid-West region every fall; alternating every other year between Herron School of Art & Design in Indianapolis, and the Art Institute of Chicago (visit the National Portfolio Day website for dates and locations).
